FEBRUARY 21 IS INTERNATIONAL MOTHER LANGUAGE DAY!

Since 2000, the United Nations has marked this day to celebrate and promote all the languages of the world. People from around the world participate in events that promote linguistic and cultural diversity.  Celebrate this day with the children in your program with special activities or posters and pictures! Let everyone know their mother language matters! Encourage people to maintain their mother language while learning and using more than one language. Click Here for a list of web resources.
