Children love stories! Though a series of multi-sensory activities based on a popular children’s book, viewers will learn about how to promote a child’s interest in reading. Viewers will also learn the importance of engaging children, even during their early development stages, to provide a solid foundation for literacy skills.
Winnie Thien, from Toronto District School Board LINC Childminding Program, provides a dynamic presentation from the 2010 Professional Development COnference for LINC Childminders, which show you how to engage children of all ages in literacy and learning.
