Services
CMAS is committed to helping organizations working with newcomer children. We support the establishment and operation of quality newcomer child care programs that meet the needs of the families they serve.
Founded in 2000, and funded through Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), we monitor and support programs that provide care for newcomer children in the settlement community.
At CMAS, we are dedicated to the safe and successful integration of children who are new to Canada. We develop resources, highlight research, and showcase information and ideas for administrators, child care providers and all professionals interested in enhancing the care provided to newcomer families.
In this section, you will find information and resources for the organizations currently being funded by CIC to provide child care supports.

CMAS History and Team
CMAS was founded in 2000, and funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada to monitor and support the health and safety of newcomer children in settlement programs.
Since then, CMAS has expanded to provide training and resources for caregivers, administrators, and newcomer families.
The CMAS website is a reflection of our dedication to the safe and successful integration of children who are new to Canada, and also to our understanding of their diverse needs.
