TOP (Training Opportunities Program) is a program designed specifically for LINC , ELT, and OCC Caregivers.
Research shows that one of the most important features for safe child care delivery is the education of the staff. TOP focuses on providing training for childminders to increase their child care knowledge and skills in a Canadian context.
TOP is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada to provide LINC, ELT and OCC caregivers with an opportunity to be reimbursed for approved, skill-enhancing courses/workshops that are successfully completed.
TOP funds both individual training and in-house group training.
